We’re Hiring! - Client & Account Director (Flex Role)

We’re looking for a brilliant Client & Account Director to join our growing team. We’re offering this position as a flex, part-time role. This role may suit a senior AD who perhaps wants to balance a career around life and family commitments. We’re big believers in having the best of both! 

This is an important hybrid role within the agency; nurturing our clients, pitching on prospective projects, and helping the wider team to deliver their best work.

But enough about us, let’s talk about you. 

About you:

You’re an experienced Account Director with a proven track record who’s seeking an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a young, fast growing agency. You’re a down to earth self-starter who loves to get stuck in, with a keen eye for detail and good instincts about what clients want and what projects need.

  • You have 5+ years experience of delivering client success as a Client or Account Director within agencies (creative, marketing, social, or design)
  • You have a proven track record of nurturing and growing fruitful relationships
  • You’re strategically minded and problem solving 
  • You’re organised, quick thinking, outgoing and creative 
  • You have an eye for the bigger picture, always finding new ways to deliver success for the agency and your clients
  • A self starter, you have experience in managing teams of people alongside external resources
  • You relish a challenge and you’re not afraid to take on new tasks outside of your comfort zone
  • You write and speak effectively and eloquently
  • You have good experience with budgets, numbers and reporting
  • You’re digitally savvy and a whizz with the Google docs family, Slack, project management tools (we 💖 Trello), and presentation software, but you can turn your hand to any new tool as needed

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating strategic plans and proposals and working to meet these goals
  • The setup of new client accounts, including onboarding, service agreements, setting up workflows, meeting and workshop scheduling, and dealing with day to day client correspondence
  • Handling client calls, meetings and check ins with stakeholders and the OOB team
  • Working alongside the senior team to prepare proposals and pitch on prospective projects, helping to win business
  • Liaising between the OOB team and clients to progress project tasks, managing timelines and expectations from inception to completion
  • Regular reporting to agency, clients, and stakeholders 
  • Taking ownership and accountability for the completion of goals and reaching targets as set out in proposals and meetings 
  • Proactively seek new ways and opportunities for your clients to stand out and succeed, keeping on top of industry trends and developments
  • Lead, support and manage junior members of the team when collaborating on projects
  • Hold internal and external client reviews on a regular basis
  • Constantly review the way we work to benefit the client and agency – looking for smarter and more efficient ways of working
